Buzz Howard is a dynamic leader, mentor, and communicator with over 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry. As Senior Vice President at Big Valley Mortgage and co-host of The Blitz Break, Buzz brings his trademark energy, southern charm, and servant-leadership philosophy to every conversation, both in business and behind the mic.

Throughout his career, Buzz has led teams, trained thousands of professionals, and shaped the direction of some of the nation’s most recognized mortgage organizations. Before joining BVM, he served as Owner and Director of Training for Mortgage Training Services and later founded Buzz Howard Seminars, where he consulted for companies including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, and Countrywide. His leadership style is grounded in service, believing that a positive attitude is the true key to success.

On The Blitz Break, Buzz blends insight, humor, and authenticity with his unmistakable southern warmth, inviting guests and listeners alike into conversations that are as meaningful as they are fun.

A proud Texan and graduate of the Texas A&M system, Buzz was honored with the American Red Cross Award of Merit by President Ronald Reagan, one of the organization’s highest distinctions. When he’s not leading, teaching, or podcasting, you can usually find him out on the water, enjoying life with his trademark smile.
